Vocabulary Workshop Unit One work continues in class
Bedford Reader literary terms and rhetorical devices continue in class
Dialectical journals for The Great Gatsby Chapters 4-6 (three per chapter) are due today for Friday's class discussion
AP Period Six outlining assignment due Friday (see Friday blog entry)
Dialectical journals for Chapters Six-Ten of Their Eyes Were Watching God are due today; (one per chapter) (Period Six only)

Types of sentences journals continue in class; declarative, interrogative, imperative, exclamatory, simple, compound, complex, compound-complex, interrupted, balanced, periodic and cumulative sentences

Thursday
In-class timed writing is scheduled
