Period Two's letter to the editor assignment response to the Daum column is due Tuesday. If papers are delivered this week, Period Three will write a letter to the editor that will be due on Friday, December 18

Pages 72-83 of Vocabulary Workshop review for Units One-Six is due Monday; the Unit One-Six Cumulative Test will be scheduled later this week or after the holiday break.

Great Gatsby DCQ is due on Tuesday.

Sign-in codes and user names will be issued this week for gomyaccess.com, which students will use to compose and submit the final essay on Great Gatsby due January 11, 2010. Textual evidence and proper citations will be required.

Talking points for Great Gatsby Chapters Seven-Nine are scheduled for Monday. The film will be screened on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

The Booker T. Washington piece rhetoric question responses from Language of Composition are due Wednesday.

Water Politics Case Three unit test and class activity has been postponed until after the holiday break.

The global warming synthesis essay is due today, Monday.

Students will complete reading and dialectical journal entries for Invisible Man. Specific information will be assigned by week's end.

In-class assignments and class updates trump published blogs.

*POTENTIAL, ACHIEVEMENT, THOUGHT, HONOR

Students will complete all Vocabulary Workshop pages between the end of Unit Six and the beginning of Unit Seven in preparation for the Unit One-Six Cumulative Test, scheduled for next week in class.

Letter to the Editor response is due from Period Three on Tuesday. Period Two will write a Letter to the Editor response on Thursday and submit it the following Tuesday.

The Great Gatsby Chapters Seven-Nine talking points are due Friday for the usual class discussion. Screening of the film will be scheduled for next week. The essay for the novel will be completed online in the Vantage Writing Lab with a date yet to be set. The Gatsby DCQ activity will be assigned as homework with a due date to be announced. The Gatsby compare-contrast essay is due today.

The Bedford Reader literary terms will be reviewed in class on Monday and the test is scheduled for the next day. Language of Composition books should be brought on Tuesday for the Booker T. Washington selection review and rhetoric questions to be assigned.

Water Politics Case Two activity continues on Wednesday with Case Three to be assigned. A Writer's Choice grammar assignment is also scheduled for today so books should be brought to class.

The environmental synthesis essay will be written in class on Thursday; reading selections A-F will be provided for students before the essay.
