In-class assignments and class updates trump published blogs.

Letter to the Editor for both classes is due on Tuesday.

MWD guest speaker is scheduled in class on Monday for both classes. Students prepared questions about research paper; speaker will address paper's focus and participate in question-and-answer session.

Access research paper sources on teacher pages and in handouts provided in class. Research paper due date is May 17; students should not delay in accessing sources, writing initial drafts, updating outlines and works cited pages and submitting final draft by deadline. Check senior projects link on the school's library web site to use the Online Writing Lab site for MLA formatting requirements for this fifteen-page document. After the AP Exam on May 12, students will deliver in-class presentations to determine presenters for the field trip visit.

AP Exam preparation week two is scheduled for April 30 and May 3-6. Students will write an essay on Friday, Monday, and Wednesday and complete a full multiple choice component on Tuesday and Thursday. Final review for the exam is scheduled for Monday, May 10 and Tuesday, May 11.

Multiple choice summer assignment answers will be reviewed in class and Cornell Notes are scheduled this week on Wednesday and Thursday lectures.

Water Case Eight, Nine and Ten are scheduled in class after the AP Examination on May 12.
