In-class assignments and class updates trump published blogs.

Work was begun on a tone assignment in class and will continue this week with the "apply" section of the activity. Bedford Reader terms 21-30 will be reviewed in class Monday and Tuesday, when the textbook is due in class, and a quiz date will be set. Bedford Reader outlining for Chapter Two is due today, Monday and Chapter Three outlining due date will be set. The Virginia Woolf essay will be written in class on Wednesday and prewriting will be returned to students. Writer's Choice text and grammar assignment will be rescheduled this week to Thursday when that textbook and Unit III of Vocabulary Workshop will be due. Five talking points per chapter are due Friday for Their Eyes Were Watching God Chapters 6-10; a class discussion is scheduled for Friday. Work on prose passages #2 and #3 continues all week. When time permits, Cornell Notes will be finished and a quiz scheduled. The Los Angeles Times assignments will begin after paper deliveries begin; they were scheduled two weeks ago but have not arrived on a weekly basis yet. Other work will be scheduled and announced during the week in class.
